You can use the following operators:
* stands for the Kleene Star (zero or more)
+ for AND, - for NOT, no operator implies OR
> increases the term relevance and < decreases it
( ) parentheses group terms into subexpressions
~ marks the term as noise but does not exclude associated results

All operators are to be prepended to the term except for the Kleene Star which is to be appended.

Double quotes are used to search for string literals.

Search terms are case insensitive and accent insensitive by default.

Enclose search terms in double quotes to match strings with accents or upper case letters.

Text direction can be changed using shift+alt+left or shift+alt+right.

Examples:
1. 'pangolin kangaroo': at least one of the two words
2. '+pangolin +kangaroo': both words
3. '+pangolin kangaroo': rank matches higher if they also contain 'kangaroo'
4. '+pangolin -kangaroo': 'pangolin' but not 'kangaroo'
5. '+pangolin ~kangaroo': 'pangolin' and decrease relevance if matches contain 'kangaroo'
6. '+pangolin +(>kangaroo <platypus)':
('pangolin' AND 'kangaroo') OR ('pangolin' AND 'platypus') but rank ('pangolin' AND 'platypus') higher
7.'ornithorhynchus*':
matches words containing 'ornithorhyncus' such as 'ornithorhyncus', 'ornithorhyncuses', or 'ornithorhynchus anatinus'
8. "Ornithorhynchidae is the family name of the ornithorhynchus anatinus":
enclose terms in double quotes to use them as string constant in your request
